32 Sounds is a critically acclaimed, award-winning immersive documentary and profound sensory experience from Oscar-nominated filmmaker Sam Green that explores the elemental phenomenon of sound. The film is a meditation on the power of sound to bend time, cross borders, and profoundly shape our perception of the world around us. Academy Award-winner, Mark Mangini, was the film's sound design and mixer.
32 Sounds exists in three unique and equally exciting forms: one for a live audience, complete with individual headphones for each audience member and featuring live narration by Sam Green and live original music by JD Samson; another specifically designed for a completely immersive at-home experience; and a theatrical version of the film.
32 Sounds premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and 2022 SXSW Film Festival.
