Featuring interviews with bandmates Flea and Anthony Kiedis and others close to Slovak, the film explores the band’s early evolution on the LA music scene and the deep bond of their childhood friendship.

The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers will make its world premiere at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival. The film will launch globally on Netflix, March 20th.
